Monthly Walks and Events
We host a group walk in Aberdeenshire on the first Sunday of the month, and in Moray/The Highlands on the third Sunday of the month. All sighthounds are welcome; we ask they are kept onlead within the group.

Moray Monthly Walk June 2026 - Nairn

Nairn - Meet at the Maggot Car Park
The tides are in our favour to head to the beach!
It's been a while so we are off to Nairn. We'll head along the beach and then back along the promenade bit - chances for ice cream along the way!
Meeting 10:45 for 11am, all sighthounds and friends welcome. Please keep dogs on leads and use a muzzle if required and don't forget to pick up ya poop.
Directions: From the A96 (Elgin direction) turn right after the Trespass Shop on the right and just before going over the bridge and the river - towards Lochloy Holiday Park. Follow road all the way down and the Maggot Car Park is at the end.
(From Inverness direction): Keep following the A96 and just after you go over the bridge and the river, turn left down to Lochloy Holiday Park.
Parking charges: there is a parking machine - I honestly can't find the prices online anywhere sorry!

As we are at a show on 5th July, we've brought the walk forward a week 🐾
The (nearly) July walk will be at Crathes.
Meet in the car park at 10.45 ready to go at 11am.
All sighthounds welcome. Please keep your dogs on lead, muzzled as required, please give dogs you don't know space and pick up your poop!

Fun Charity Dog Show (Indoors)

Fun Charity Dog Show at the Waulkmill Show Centre - many of you will remember this is where we used to hold our Fun Day!
We are not in charge of this, but have been invited along and will be bringing our tombola, items from the Happy Hound Store and some fun games for your hounds.
There are 20 categories so definitely something for everyone - please do come along and support this.
Rare indoor event which I am sure will be lots of fun 😁

Clatt Annual Companion Dog Show

We have a stall at the Clatt Annual Dog Show - please get in touch of you can help on the day!
Entries open from 9:45am, with judging starting at 10:30am. It’s pay on the day, so no need to book in advance.
We’ll have a mix of pedigree classes and fun variety classes open to everyone — from puppies and veterans to junior handlers, prettiest bitch, most handsome dog, best local dog and more.
There’ll also be:
🐶 Dog show classes for all kinds of dogs
🛍️ Local stalls to browse and shop from
🎟️ A raffle with lovely prizes
☕ Homemade refreshments
🏆 Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show & Best Puppy
