Monthly Walks and Events
We host a group walk in Aberdeenshire on the first Sunday of the month, and in Moray/The Highlands on the third Sunday of the month. All sighthounds are welcome; we ask they are kept onlead within the group.

Moray Monthly Walk July 2026 - Fochabers

Winding Walks, Fochabers
Directions: IV32 7PG or from Fochabers, follow the A98 east towards Buckie for about 1 mile (2km). The Winding Walks car park is on the right.
We are off to Winding Walks in Fochabers for a wander round the woods, it’s been ages since we have been here.
All sighthounds welcome. Please remember to keep your humans on a lead and hounds, do use a muzzle if required and pick up ya poop.
Parking £2 for an hour, £2.50 for 3 hours. Coins or RingGo app.
A great walk through the forest to the viewpoint - there are shorter paths available for any older hounds 🙂
Our monthly walks are a great chance for your own hound to meet and get used to others and if you’re thinking about getting a greyhound, this is a great chance to meet lots!
Clatt Annual Companion Dog Show

We have a stall at the Clatt Annual Dog Show - please get in touch of you can help on the day!
Entries open from 9:45am, with judging starting at 10:30am. It’s pay on the day, so no need to book in advance.
We’ll have a mix of pedigree classes and fun variety classes open to everyone — from puppies and veterans to junior handlers, prettiest bitch, most handsome dog, best local dog and more.
There’ll also be:
🐶 Dog show classes for all kinds of dogs
🛍️ Local stalls to browse and shop from
🎟️ A raffle with lovely prizes
☕ Homemade refreshments
🏆 Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show & Best Puppy
Whether you’re entering, spectating, bringing the family, or just fancy a lovely local day out, everyone is very welcome.

Aberdeenshire Monthly Walk, August 2026

For August's Walk we will be heading to Delgaty Woods just outside Turriff.
Parking is free, follow the signs for Delgatie Castle and you shouldn't miss it.
Please meet in the car park at 10.45am ready to go at 11am.
All sighthounds welcome; please keep all dogs on lead within the group, use a muzzle as required and give hounds you don't know space. Pick up the poop as you go.
The castle has toilets and a nice café for a treat afterwards!
