Say hello to Mo, a super fun and happy 2 year old girl! Mo has been full of the joys of life since day one of foster, with a tail that never stops wagging! Mo is petite in size but full of personality!
It is still very early days in foster for Mo, however she has been very confident from the beginning. So far, we have not seen Mo be shy about anything! She is very happy and inquisitive when meeting new people or exploring new places.
Mo currently lives with 2 other sighthounds, one dominant male and one submissive female. She lives with both with no issues. She likes to cuddle up and play with our female.
Mo is very affectionate and cuddly, a proper love bug! She is very playful, she loves fluffy toys, shredding empty toilet rolls and using enrichment toys and snuffle mats. We think that she could happily with other dogs or as an only dog, as long as she gets lots of attention and opportunities for play from her humans.
Mo’s toilet training is going well, she knows that she should go outside but at the moment she is unsure of how to let us know when. She travels well in the car and will lie down straight away, she just needs a little help jumping in! With time, she will likely manage on her own.
Mo sleeps well through the night in the hallway outside our bedroom. So far, she isn’t keen on being kept downstairs by herself at night.
Mo has sleep startle, so it’s best that she sleeps in her own bed with appropriate space away from other dogs or anything that could disturb her while sleeping. For this reason, Mo could only be homed with children if they are dog-savvy, and know not to touch or disturb her while she is resting.
Mo is currently being crate trained. She has been left with the resident hounds for short periods and is being encouraged to be independent by spending time downstairs alone while her foster mum works upstairs.
Mo walks well on the lead, she really enjoys her walks or having a run in the secure field. She shows no reactive behaviour, just a waggy tail when passing by people or dogs.
Mo would make a great work-from-home buddy, or even as an office dog - she spent the day in the office recently and was happy to meet everyone then go for a snooze until lunchtime.
Mo is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered. She comes with 5 weeks free pet insurance. Mo is currently in foster in West Lothian.
