Introducing Elsie, a super sweet blue girl! Everyone that meets Elsie comments on how sweet, friendly and calm she is.

It is still early days in foster for Elsie, however she has settled in well and is proving to be a very ‘low maintenance’ dog - she will happily sleep all day and only asks for the occasional chin scratch! We think Elsie would thrive as an only dog, with a human or humans all to herself. So far she is unfazed by her doggy foster siblings and doesn’t interact with them much. In a multi dog household, we think she would prefer to live with a male.

Elsie’s toilet training is going well, she knows that she should go outside but at the moment she is unsure of how to let us know when. She travels well in the car and will lie down straight away, she just needs a little help jumping in! With time and as her confidence grows, she will likely manage on her own.

Elsie sleeps well through the night, she happily stays downstairs for bedtime with our resident male Galgo for company. Elsie has taken to crate training very well, it is her safe space and she will happily chill out in there. Elsie has been left home alone with her foster siblings for short periods of time, and settles much better when in her crate compared to free roam of the house.

Elsie walks well on the lead on a collar or harness. As soon as she sees you pick up her lead, she will wriggle her body in excitement along with a very waggy tail! She pulls slightly at the beginning but after a few minutes she calms down. She is uninterested in any dogs we pass on walks and shows no reactive behaviour.

Elsie would make a great work-from-home buddy, or even as an office dog - she spent the day in the office recently and everyone marvelled at what a great colleague she was! She was happy to settle all day with a quick walk at lunchtime.

Elsie is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered. She comes with 5 weeks free pet insurance. Elsie is currently in foster in West Lothian.
