Monthly Sighthound Walks
Our monthly walks are a gathering of hounds and always a lot of fun! All pointy faces are welcome along with their humans who like to share experiences and trade stories. The walks usually take about an hour, and if possible we offer shorter routes for the less spritely amongst us.
The Aberdeenshire Walk is held on the first Sunday of each month, whilst the Moray Walk happens on the third of the month. Locations vary to cover all parts of the counties.
In June the Monthly Walks are replaced by the Great Global Greyhound Walks. In 2018 an incredible 6387 dogs took part across the globe, can it be beaten in 2019? Now in its tenth year, the 2019 Great Global Greyhound Walk will take place on Sunday 9th June.

Sue Rae’s Memorial Walk – Haddo Country Park
Sunday 1st September 2019
The Aberdeenshire September Walk is always a special event held at Haddo House near Ellon. This walk is to remember GAGAH’s friend Sue who unfortunately is no longer with us.
Sue did a lot for GAGAH; she was a lady with tremendous personality and a huge heart.
The people who were lucky enough to have met Sue will know that she loved not only the hounds but also the colour purple, so we ask you to wear something purple for the walk.
Sue was an avid fundraiser for GAGAH, and for this walk we ask for an optional donation of £1 per hound in her memory.
The nearest post code for Sat Nav is AB41 7EQ.
Meet in the car park at 10.45am, ready to go at 11am.
All hounds to be kept on lead and muzzled as required.
Bring a picnic and make a day of it!
