Our fosters' feet barely get chance to touch the ground when they first arrive. Starts with a walk to give the anti-flea treatment time to work before they come into the house, toilet breaks in the garden every 2 hours (minimum), a shower /bath, introducing food rewards and of course lots of love and reassuring chat, as well. These 2 got their own back. Joined forces to treat us to a little howling session an hour after we went to bed, and then again about 3

am and then another encore at about 5 am!!! The enthusiastic morning greetings more than made up for the broken night's sleep. And on the plus side, no accidents even on 1st night and no howling by second night :).
