Moira is a lovely little ‘cow print’ hound who arrived in foster on 4th December. She is living with two humans and her gorgeous greyhound foster brother Dan near Edinburgh. So far, she appears to be a very happy and lovable dog and enjoys attention and a cuddle! She has already been busy meeting all the local greyhounds on a group walk.

Her foster Mum says, “She is a very sweet but nervous girl and is very affectionate in the house and loves to sleep either spread out on her side or on her back with her legs in the air. She loves running around in the garden with Dan but unsure when by herself. On walks she can be nervous and relies on Dan.”

Initial impressions suggest she might appreciate having another dog companion in the home to help her grow in confidence and encourage her to be her true Groo self – but watch this space for updates, it’s still early days and she will come out of her shell over the next few weeks!
Moira is microchipped, vaccinated and comes with 5 weeks pet insurance.

*UPDATE 29.12.21 * her foster mum describes her as “the loveliest dog, so friendly and affectionate”! She will always come and greet you with a waggy tail and loves people. Initially when she came into foster she had been very nervous outside but is now enjoying her walks but will be a bit wary of noisy traffic etc so still needs a bit of reassurance. She walks well on the lead. Off lead in the garden or enclosed fields she has discovered the joy of zoomies! She does like to be near her humans when in the house and we think she would do better with another hound companion to live with.
