Jian

A handsome 2 year old lurcher lad. Jian came to us due to his owner's ill health. He is in a foster home at the moment with another male greyhound and gets on great with him. Jian is very reactive when he sees other dogs outside but by walking him on a halti and with some very intense socialisation classes he could overcome his over-enthusiastic reaction. He is a very friendly, loving lad.

He is not an aggressive dog. He has settled well in his foster home and is very obedient. He is also trained to an indoor kennel. He could happily live with another dog or be an only dog with a family who have a lot of time to spend with him and keep him stimulated. He is still quite puppylike and playful. He LOVES kids but has a habit of 'play biting' which could be offputting, but again he will respond to correct training.

He has a newborn baby that comes to visit and all he wants to do is constantly lick them. He is a very intelligent lad who learns quickly

Jian can jump so needs a home with a secure high fence or someone who is always willing to be in the garden with him (and with Jian on a lead) for toileting. He is neutered and is not cat-safe.
