Monthly Walks

Each month GAGAH hosts two group walks giving the hounds and their owners the opportunity to get together, share experiences and make new friends.

The Aberdeenshire Walk is held on the first Sunday of the month, whilst the Moray Walk is held on the third Sunday of the month. Locations vary and suggestions are always welcome!

The rules are simple - all hounds in the group to be kept to lead, muzzled if required, pick up the poop and have fun!

Sunday 1st July 2018

Balmedie Country Park, Balmedie, Aberdeen AB23 8XG

Meet at 10.45 at the car park, ready to go at 11am.

This walk is a fantastic mixture of sand dunes, beach and play park with a picnic area.

There is plenty of parking and the cost of parking is a donation.

For those of you with Satnav use AB23 8XG, for the rest of us its on the coast, east of the village of Balmedie 8 miles north of Aberdeen on the A 90 road to Peterhead and Fraserburgh. The park is well signed from the A90. When you get into Balmedie turn onto the North Beach road and continue driving right to the end of the road where you will come to the car park we will meet by the picnic area.

There is a new road system but it is well signposted.

This is a lovely walk and if the weather is kind to us bring lunch and let the kids loose on the play park.

All you houndies reading this get your humans on a lead and bring them along, I cannot think of a better way to spend a Sunday morning than at one of Scotland's most beautiful beaches.
