** SPECIAL APPEAL **
Buzz is a handsome, shy, adorable 6yr old greyhound lad.
He is in a foster home and has settled really well. He is very wary of men and bonds with women a lot quicker but does learn to trust men in time. He was badly abused by male owner, hence his fear. He is getting braver by the day but is still quite jumpy and very scared of sudden movements or noise.
Buzz is sharing his foster home with a confident female hound and they get on great. He can become very attached once he bonds with you so he would suit someone who is around a lot of the time and lives in a rural/semi-rural location. He walks great on a lead and is loving his quiet country walks.
Buzz has gentle and 'puppy' like mannerisms, everything is very curious to him and he looks to you for reassurance.
He needs an understanding and experienced owner. He would suit a home in a quiet location as he has issues with small dogs and animals.

He has just arrived and has never stopped with the kisses and waggy tail, despite being very underweight and having a rotten tailend.
Still to be fully assessed so watch this space.

Ben
Ben hasn't been long with Lex so is still settling in, he is 3 and a half years old and weighs 32kg. He was going to be put to sleep because he didn't run fast enough.
GAGAH's old friend Lex is giving up the dogs, and he has seven crackers looking for a sofa. All of Lex's dogs mix together every day, so there shouldn't be a problem living with another hound. They are all kennel trained and are usually fully housetrained in a few days. All of Lex's dogs are clean and in very good condition. Every dog GAGAH have had from him have been well adjusted, really nice dogs.

Cleo
Cleo is a sweet natured 2yr old smallish greyhound girl.
She is still quite puppyish in her ways.
She walks great on a lead and has also spent time in a foster home where she settled brilliantly but still needs some work on her toilet training but she is making great progress.
She would love to hug you 24hours a day and becomes instantly attached so she would definately need the company of another male hound, preferably an older one who could act as a mentor for her and keep her puppy ways in check.
She would need an experienced sighthound owner and caution would be needed around smaller dogs, she is not catsafe. She would be great with older kids.
Cleo has some quirky ways which just make her even more adorable.More pictures here.

Daisy
Daisy - A shy but affectionate 9 year old greyhound girl.
Daisy is just an angel to walk, loves her cuddles and learns to trust quite quickly. She needs to be an only dog but we feel she would cope very well being left on her own.
A quiet house is what Daisy needs due to her nervousness so even though she is great with kids, we would not recommend it for her. An owner with previous sighthound experience would be ideal as Daisy is not smalldogsafe or catsafe but will not pull you if she sees one.
She is so submissive but once she gets to know you she will be your best friend for life.

Danny

Elsie
Elsie is a black, 8yr old mature greyhound lady. She settled into a foster home very quickly with other male/female hounds.
She is very affectionate and loves her walks, she walks well on the lead.
Elsie would thrive on the company of another male hound who doesn't mind a bossy lady but she doesn't bully. She would also be good with a family with older children, just due to her age. She is not safe with smaller dogs or cats and would therefore require an experienced sighthound owner.
Elsie would make a great pet and she just gazes at you with those big brown eyes. She's had a hard life but is in good health regardless.

Gracie
Gracie. A quiet, gentle 9yr old greyhound girl.
She is currently in a foster home with a male & female greyhound and has settled exceptionally well. Her foster mum says she is one of the easiest and most gentle dogs she has ever met.
Not yet tested for cats. She walks great on a lead and is great with smaller dogs that she meets outside. She is spotless in her foster home as well.
Gracie will need a quiet home, definatly with another hound for confidence. She is terrified of most men, and will need to be in a home with few many men around or someone quiet and understanding that can help give her some confidence.

Monty
Monty is a very handsome and affectionate 4 year old hound who has been living in a home with young children.
His family circumstances have now changed so Monty desperately needs a new family to love him. He is great with children and most other dogs, but can get excitable around small dogs. He loves nothing more than to cuddle up on the sofa with you.
Monty walks quite well on the lead but can get excited if he meets cats and other small animals. He is easily controllable, and he would benefit from some work on this. Monty would prefer a home where there is someone around a lot of the time to give him the routine he needs, as he can get a bit stressed if he isn't sure what's coming next.
Monty is a lovely lad who will give you so much love and affection.

Stan
Stan is a 4yr old, big gentle lad.
We are trying to get him into a foster home as soon as possible as he may be epileptic and we need to monitor him more closely to ensure he has the right medication to control/stop any fits. If you have any experience with epileptic dogs and would love to be best mates with this charming big lad, please get in touch. GAGAH will pay for all vet bills relating to this condition.

Stan is the friendliest dog you could ever meet.

Suzi
This is the lovely Suzi (was Susu). She is 5 years old, and has been spayed.
She has been in foster care for a year now, and is the perfect house guest.
Suzi is great on the lead, and is good when she meets dogs off lead or walking. She has great recall in safe enviroment.
She is not small dog safe, but lives with other hounds with no problems. Not cat tested but would chase.
Owner would have to be dominant from the start to stop her trying to take over. Probably best in a home without children.
A gorgeous dog.
