** SPECIAL APPEAL **
Buzz is a handsome, shy, adorable 3.5yr old greyhound lad.
When Buzz first came to us he was terrified and traumatised but slowly came round. He is getting braver by the day but is still quite jumpy and very scared of sudden movements or noise. Buzz would suit a home with a more confident hound and in a rural/semi-rural location.
Buzz has gentle and 'puppy' like mannerisms, everything is very curious to him and he looks to you for reassurance, he learns to trust quickly and once he does he trusts you forever. He needs an understanding and experienced owner. He would suit a home with much older children and in a quiet location as he has issues with small dogs and animals.

** SPECIAL APPEAL **
Scoots is a lovely 12yr old, elderly gentleman who was given up by his owners due to their declining health.
He needs a home where he can just have an easy life and be respected as a lovely old man who is just set in his ways. Because of his age we would not home him with children. He needs a loving owner who will love him for who he is.

** SPECIAL APPEAL **
Gus is a 4yr old male who has settled well in his foster home with another female greyhound and children. He has been the perfect guest, spotless in the house and extremely laid back. He is not good with small dogs but could be easily managed by an experienced owner and would make an amazing family pet
Gus is very open about his affection for you, he would stand all day washing your face and being cuddled, he has an amazing, loving nature. A semi-rural/rural home would be ideal for him. He is neutered and fully vaccinated.

** SPECIAL APPEAL **
Minty is a stunning 2year old greyhound lad, he gets very excited by human company and is very affectionate, you would need time and patience to teach him to be a wee bit calmer, but he is responding well and quickly to that in his foster home that he is sharing with a female greyhound.
He has met alot of small dogs and is fine with them, although his greetings to all dogs is a bit excitable but he does respond to a firm voice. He can walk well on the lead if you are firm and consistent with the training, he could easily live with an active family with older children and another bossy female dog, who will put him in his place if he plays too rough. Minty is still quite 'puppy like' in alot of his behaviour, the world is all so new and exciting to him, but with an experienced owner this could easily be worked on and calmed down. He is neutered and vaccinated. Minty is not catsafe.

Billy
Billy is a fun loving 5yr old greyhound lad. He was living in a home for 18mths so is used to homelife and to being an only dog, which he copes with extremely well.
He has a bubbly personality so would suit a family with older kids, say 8yrs and above, he is so affectionate and never stops wagging his tail.
Billy has re-occurring corns so he needs a few things to make life easier for him to cope which include soft flooring in the house and the ability to be only walked on grass or with an owner who is happy to make the effort to pop him in a car where he can be walked on grass
He has settled back into kennel life and has been spotless since he arrived.
He is fine with other dogs as long as they are not in his face and is just a joy to walk on the lead.

Boss
Boss is a stunning, White and blue, 3yr old greyhound.
He settled instantly in his foster home with other hounds and children.
He has a gentle nature and is still a bit puppy-like in his mannerisms. He is great on the lead, has been clean in the house and just loves everyone and all dogs.
He would make a great family, fun loving pet.
He has still to be cat tested.

Cassie
A delicate, stunning 3yr old, blue greyhound girl. Cassie has been in her foster home now for a few months living with 2 male greyhounds and kids of ages 5yrs & 8yrs old.
She is amazing with children, and is great to walk on a lead. Cassie needs the company of another dog and needs some basic work on toilet training, as if she is stressed she can have a few accidents.
She is very affectionate and gentle, especially around children. Cassie is not good with small dogs and can get a bit excited and disapproving if she sees other dogs running around off-lead but is easily managed.
She would make an IDEAL family pet. She has been spayed. Cassie is not catsafe.

Duke
Duke is approx 2yrs old. He is a very clever lurcher (lab/hound). He mixes well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes and enjoys playing chase.
Duke is currently living in a foster home with other dogs and a CAT so he is cat safe.
He has been spotless in his foster home from the minute he arrived and will let you know if he needs out.
He loves his chew toys. He would suit an active house with older children and people who will play games with him and further his training. He can be quite puppyish and still full of fun and carry on.He can open doors and some drawers. He jumps up when excited but will sit down when told.
He would make a fantastic, fun loving, family pet.

Elsie
Elsie is a black, 8yr old mature greyhound lady. She settled into a foster home very quickly with other male/female hounds.
She is very affectionate and loves her walks, she walks well on the lead.
Elsie would thrive on the company of another male hound who doesn't mind a bossy lady but she doesn't bully. She would also be good with a family with older children, just due to her age. She is not safe with smaller dogs or cats and would therefore require an experienced sighthound owner.
Elsie would make a great pet and she just gazes at you with those big brown eyes. She's had a hard life but is in good health regardless.

Leena
An adorable, 4yr old , black and white greyhound lass who has just newly arrived into our kennels.
Leena attaches very quickly and showers you with affection, we feel she would need the company of another dog to help her confidence.
She trust humans very quickly and just stares at you with adoring, loving eyes.
She is easily distracted ont he lead when passing other smaller dogs, but caution would be advised as with most greyhounds.

Luca
A stunning, 3yr old, Blue & white greyhound lad. He is clean in his kennel, brilliant on a lead and a real happy-go-lucky lad. He is OK with with smaller dogs and happily walks beside them on a lead, but if they are running around he does react to them, so caution will be required.
Luca's tail just never stops wagging, he is the happiest dog on the planet and is busy taking in everything around him. He is a loveable, goofy, puppylike lad with bags of personality.
A home with no young children would be best as he can be a wee bit bouncy at first, he could easily share his home with another friendly dog as well. He is not catsafe and gets really excited when he sees them outside.

Lucy
A 4yr old, blue greyhound girl. She has settled in quickly with the other dogs in her foster home.
She likes a quiet life and is happy with other laid back hounds who are not too bouncy.
She has been spotless in the house and is great with the children who are 8yrs+. She likes her own sleeping space so we would advise older kids.
She walks brilliant on a lead, caution will be required around smaller dogs, especially if they are bouncy and running around but she is easily managed on the lead when she sees them.
Lucy can be quite playful, so another medium sized dog for a playpal would be great for her. She is not catsafe. Lucy is vaccinated and soon to be spayed.

Mey
Mey is a 1yr old lurcher girl. She is in our foster kennels at the moment.
She is 90% greyhound and is female greyhound size.
Mey is very, very affectionate and friendly and walks well on the lead.
She has been a working lurcher so has your typical greyhound chase instinct.
At her small dog test she just wanted to play. She is young and active so would suit an active home and ideally a home where there is another dog who has the same energy levels. She is calm and could easily be trained to do agility and would love long walks and more stimulation than your average greyhound. She would be great with kids who are used to active dogs and who want a dog to interact with them.
Mey doesn't like other dogs in her face but is great with dogs who approach calmly and non-threatening so an experienced and confident dog owner could easily work with her as she is so eager to please you and is very smart and quick on the uptake.

Misty
Misty is a 4yr old, blue greyhound girl. She is with her owners at the moment who are rehoming her due to ill-health. She has been in a home for 2years now living with another male greyhound.
Misty is a gentle, affectionate girl, great on a lead, spotless in the house. She would suit living with a home who also maybe has a male greyhound who likes bossy females.
Misty is great with small dogs when outside but is not catsafe.
She can be excitable sometimes so older children would be more suitable.

Pete
Peter is a lovely 3yr old greyhound. He has just arrived into foster kennels but is doing well. He has bad muzzle scarring and is underweight.
He walks well on a lead outside, seems happy to ignore other dogs he meets and is quite a happy-go-lucky lad.
He has still to be fully assessed so watch this space.

Reggie
Reggie is a 3yr old male greyhound. He is still living with his current owner who has asked us to help rehome him as she doesn't have the time to look after him.
His owner says he is an adorable, laid back lad, loves his cuddles and toys and is clean in the house.
He is OK with larger dogs but is not safe with smaller dogs or cats.
He would make an ideal pet with a family with older children as he doesn't like being disturbed by the toddler in his current home.
Reggie is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated.

Summer
A 4yr old black greyhound girl currently living in a foster home with other hounds.
Summer is timid to start with but soon learns to trust humans quickly.
A home with another hound would suit her as it would help her feel more relaxed and would encourage her to have more confidence.
She is great on the lead and spotless in her foster home.
Caution would be needed around smaller dogs to start with, she is not catsafe.
She would make a brilliant family pet and is superb with the kids in the foster home of 8yrs+ old,

Tammy
Tammy is a 5yr old lurcher lass. She is being fostered in a home by a retired couple who just cannot praise her enough for being such a loving and happy girl.
She can be a bit grumpy with some dogs outside but will take a telling and is easily managed on a halti.
She is whippet/greyhound so is very dinky and much smaller than your average female greyhound. She is a very affectionate and obedient girl, is great with kids and spotless in her foster home. She needs someone who is around alot of the time as she attaches very quickly and is very, very loyal. Her foster parents have been working on leaving her alone for longer periods of time and are having great success.
Tammy would make a brilliant family pet who would settle instantly and be a real good companion, she is just brilliant with children and all humans.
She has been spayed.Tammy is not cat safe.
