Willow

We received the saddest news about our beloved Willow at the end of June. Ann, Willow’s mum, phoned to say that while Willow was out enjoying himself and running around, as he so loved doing, he hit a pothole in the ground which caused an horrendous injury. The Vet advised that due to the severity of the injury there was no way he could recover without a lot of suffering. Sadly, Willow was put to sleep.

Our thoughts are with the Henry’s and we realise what a tremendous loss they have suffered. Willow, as a lot of you will remember, was such a lively, vocal, cheeky, loveable, trusting lad who had already put up a tremendous fight for his life only 10mths previously.

Life deals some tough cards and it would have been nice if he had got 6yrs instead of 6mths in his loving home, but it was not to be.

Willow will always be loved and so very dearly missed. At least for the 6mths that he did have he was treated like a king and adored by his family. Farewell to our dear little friend whose loving gaze could melt ice
