On the 26th of May, Tanya, a 4year old greyhound in foster care, tragically passed away. She had been due to be destroyed by her racing owner, but was saved from this fate by another racer who bought her and handed her to GAGAH for a new start in life. Sadly, she knew only two weeks of home life, but in that time proved to be the most affectionate and loving girl, full of life and fun. Tanya quickly learnt her new name and identity as a pet and was so grateful to be given a chance. She only wanted to please and to be loved in return. She was a great dog and is sadly missed by her foster family, but she is now running free. |
